Brother GT-Series & DTG Print Head Flush Kit

This kit is primarily intended for Brother GT Series printheads, but can be used on other brands.  Use this kit for attempting “field recovery” of clogged printheads.  This kit is for intensive flushing of printhead in an attempt to clear clogged nozzles and should be used as a ‘last ditch effort’ prior to replacing the printhead.  Use on ‘out of warranty’ heads only.  

SUGGESTED DIRECTIONS:

Remove printhead and place on top of support/discharge waste cup so nozzles are free from obstruction.  Draw 12cc of air into syringe, affix disc filter and hose and expel air into ink reservoir thru ink feed nipple.  Remove filter and fill syringe with 12cc of Filtered Wash ‘Juice’, replace filter and hose and inject ‘juice’ into printhead under slight pressure.  Repeat process alternating air injection and juice injection until head seems clear.  Finalize by injecting air only several times until only clean foam is seen being expelled from nozzles.  Replace head and re-introduce ink.  Use extreme care not to spill solution or wet ink onto printhead electronics boards or connections.  Do not inject un-filtered air or juice into head.  Take note of flow direction on micro-filter.

WARNING:  Print head nozzles are very delicate and sensitive, if any substance other than a specifically formulated solvent is used to clean them, damage to the nozzles and print head is likely to occur.  Many operators are misinformed that they can use 'Simple Green" to clean sensitive and delicate inkjet printheads.  "Simple Green" is intended for janitorial and general cleaning purposes and is NOT FILTERED and may contain particulate that will damage or permanently clog printhead nozzles.  We recommend to USE ONLY our *Triple Filtered* Inkjet Cleaning Solution "Juice".  It is specialy formulated by us and triple-filtered to guarantee NO FOREIGN specs or contaminates that can damage printheads.
