International Coatings 222 LF Dulling / Suede Additive
Details
222 LF Dulling / Suede Additive
Used originally to create a "suede" feel and look to plastisol inks. The suede look and feel is created when the ink actually "blows out" and fractures, creating a soft roughened texture, like the suede side of leather. Secondary usage is to reduce the surface gloss of most plastisols. Reducing the surface gloss will impart a very soft "look" to the print, as well as reducing the feel, making it effective as a soft hand additive.
222 LF is a Non-Phthalate (NP) Product.
DIRECTIONS:
To eliminate gloss, add 2% of additive to ink by weight (50:1 ink to additive ratio). To create a suede look, add 10% to 15% of additive to ink by weight (10:1 up to 6:1 ratio).
