Red Solvent Resistant Frame Tape
Details
2" x 36yd Red Solvent Resistant Frame Tape
Screenblock Tape consists of a polyethylene (PE) film coated on one side with a rubber adhesive. Used to tape out screen frames. It is chemical and moisture resistant and is easy to apply. Removes clean without adhesive delaminating, so offers clean removal and its red color is bright and highly visible.
Let us repeat: "THIS TAPE REMOVES CLEAN AND WILL NOT DELAMINATE". We used to sell that 'Blue Blocker Tape' years ago, but the adhesive delaminates too easily and leaves a layer of sticky gunk on the frames. If you're using roller-frames, it's even worse! Everything sticks to the frames and gets all over the exposure unit. Tape residue on the screens is one of the biggest causes of vacuum blanket rips! Short of using our Roller-Rap® Fabric Protectors, we found after careful testing, this tape stays together. VERY aggresive adhesive, so it holds extremely well. Sometimes a little too well, use care when pulling it off screens to be reused, it will pull the emulsion right off the mesh!!
