Roller frames have become an industry standard for high quality, close tolerance screen printing.  High tech precision woven fabrics, if handled properly should last for hundreds of thousands of prints.  Unfortunately, frame handling, during all phases of imaging, printing and reclaiming, render the highly tensioned frames very susceptible to ripping.  Roller-Rap^® Fabric Protectors virtually eliminate the risk of mesh ripping.  Installed after tensioning, the Roller-Rap^® fabric protection system remains in place, protecting the mesh through all phases of production until the mesh is replaced.

Quality Engineered

With a perfectly symmetrical radius, this ultimate protector fits snugly around all 1.4”, 1.6” and 2.0” diameter Roller frames.  Roller-Rap^® protectors will not distort when used with clamping adapter blocks.  Clamp adapter blocks “for Roller-Rap^®“ should be requested from your distributor.  Ultra thin wall extrusion minimizes mesh deflection and image distortion while being drawn down by the vacuum of exposure units.  In addition, their compact design maximizes usable image space on the I.D. of the frame.  Roller-Rap^® protectors will not interfere with the proper flexing of the mesh for off contact printing.  The angled arm on the topside of the Roller-Rap^® that makes contact with the screen has an integrated hinge, which allows the arm to flex and maintain a tighter seal against ink seepage under the tubular portion of the roller frame.  (See the Roller-Rap^® installation section for more information)

Roller-Rap^® Protectors are “totally” resistant to all standard solvents & chemicals used in the screen printing process.  Their flexibility and ultra high ultra violet light resistance results in a system that is easy to install and will not become brittle and crack after repeated long term usage.

Cost Effective

Roller-Rap^®protectors form an “ink dam” on the top (squeegee) side of the screen, totally eliminating the need for high cost split liner tape.  In addition, minimal use of solvent/water resistant block-out tapes & liquids result in colossal cost savings.  Roller-Rap^® Installation can be effective using solvent resistant tape as narrow as one inch.
