Viper Venom POLY

Viper Venom POLY for light polyester garments and other porous DTG printable substrates. This new pretreatment for all direct to garment printers, provides superior garment preparation resulting in vastly improved detail resolution and ink adhesion characteristics.  Incredible printing and good wash fastness on 100% polyester and 50/50 poly/cotton blends. 

Works especially well on mouse pads as well as wicking type performance sportswear. It was designed for use with most DTG water-based CMYK ink sets. Controlled and consistent application is recommended for best printing and wash results.

Normally, polyester fabrics have always been difficult to print on. The ink would bleed and colors were not very vibrant. However customers still requested printing on them, and now there is a cure!  The difference between treated and untreated can be seen in the photo on ceramic stone coasters, note the treated shirt has blacker blacks and more vibrant colors, image clarity and fine detail on small text is also greatly improved (inset).  Light colored 100% polyester performance garments, such as Underarmour, are no longer a headache and create another profit center for DTG shops.

Pre-test prior to any production runs for substrate suitability and performance.

• Application Directions: Using a "misting" spray bottle, Wagner Power Sprayer or automatic pretreater machine, such as the Viper XPT-6000, apply 1-2 quick, even coat(s) of pretreatment on print location.  Using an automatic preteat machine, apply a THIN layer of pretreatment on print location.  DO NOT OVER SATURATE THE GARMENT. More pretreatment will improve print brightness and clarity, although excessive pretreatment may effect washability.
• Curing the Pretreatment: Set heat transfer press to 330F and heavy pressure.  Lower the press on top of garment with silicone treated paper for 15 seconds. Remove paper and press  for additional 30-45 seconds, or until all vapor is gone.  It is very important that the treatment is completely dry before printing.
• Curing Finished Print: Fully printed shirts must be heat cured at 330F for 60 seconds, using light pressure with silicone treated paper. See CMYK ink label for more information.
• Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation when using this product.
• Storage: Keep tightly capped in 50-90F environment.
• Washability: Wash garments inside out in cold water, drying on delicate setting.

NOTE: The Viper Venom POLY is designed for light colored polyesters. It will not work with white ink or allow printing of light colored inks on dark fabrics.  PRETEST PRIOR TO ANY PRODUCTION RUN FOR SUITABILITY.
