GT-541 Generic Ink Supply Tube (Double-Wall)

Brother GT-541 Generic Ink Supply Tube "White Dot Kit"

All pre-2008 GT-541 printers used this type of DOUBLE WALL ink supply tube. OEM original ink tubes are part # SA5642001.  If your printer has ink tubes that are about 1/4" in diameter.... these are the right tubes.  The inner tube eventual cracks due to flexing, or ink will build-up on the interior wall creating friction and poor ink flow.  You would be surprised how often just changing the ink supply tube can fix some poor print issues.  

Think of an ink supply tube as a human artery.  Basically it is the same, it provides smooth un-hindered liquid flow.  And, just like plaque in your arteries, a tube with coagulated ink stuck to the inner walls will hinder good ink flow.  That creates an ink starvation situation at the printhead nozzel.  A new ink tube is like having coronary bypass surgery to re-establish good ink flow.

Although these are "generic" and not OEM parts, we have used them on many printers with total success.   These tubes are an exact manufacturer and material match to Brother OEM tubes.  The only difference is, the Brother OEM tubes are slightly thinner in diameter.  The inside diameter is the same.

Since the OEM tubes are slightly thinner, we have reworked OEM Tube Holders, Tube Connectors and Tube Clamps to fit our slightly thicker generic ink tube.  We have also marked the critical mounting points on the tube.  No need for you to get out a ruler to measure milimeters, we've done that for you.

So that these parts can be identified in the field by a user or GT Technician, we have marked them with white dots. Guess you know why we call it a "White Dot Kit" ... :)
