Brother EM-30L Grease Tank, #S58541000

Brother OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Grease Tank EM-30L.  This grease tank is used in conjunction with the 2.0.6 (or newer) print driver that allows you to grease the two carriage bars, that the print carriage rides on, to keep it functioning as smoothly as possible.  Also used on the Platen track bars, Wiper Blade assembly linkage and several other moving parts.  This grease should be used on a regular basis for PM (Preventative Maintenance) to maintain your Brother GT-541 at least every 6-12 months.

WARNING:  Do NOT substitute any other type of grease. (Except our IJP brand "Super Slip" Dielectric Lubricant)  

This is a high-tech silicone type grease that will not gum up and dry out.  Do not use products like: lithium grease, WD-40 or 3-in-1 light oil, as these products will eventually create a drag on the components.  This drag will cause binding of the print carriage causing poor print registration and/or error codes relating to undue motor voltage stress.
